As the rest of the world moves towards the digital dilution of quality in this age of convenience, we relish designing something that the reader can hold, feel, smell, and experience. The process of designing books allows us, as the designer, to control all aspects of how that book will convey the authors conversation with the reader. This is a very rewarding aspect of the process and one we take seriously. We love the little details of books. The endsheets. The headband. The Table of Contents. The index. The difference between a good book and a great one is in the details. Those details can be overlooked or polished. We choose to polish and celebrate them.
